Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Kopya, the desktop application and this website. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Kopya captures your screen on demand and returns an AI-generated answer about what it sees. Model access is included in your plan; you do not supply or manage an API key.
Your account
- You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
- One account is for one person. Do not share credentials.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Kopya is a productivity and privacy tool for your own work where AI assistance is permitted.
Usage limits and what counts as abuse are set out in the Fair Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In addition, you agree not to:
- Use the service to break the law, or to capture material you have no right to capture.
- Resell, proxy or redistribute model access obtained through the service.
- Reverse engineer the client to bypass plan checks or usage limits.
- Use the service in exams, interviews, assessments or other settings whose rules prohibit outside assistance. You are responsible for checking whether assistance is permitted.
- Use screen-share privacy to conceal prohibited assistance or misrepresent your work. Follow applicable disclosure and consent requirements. Privacy controls do not exempt you from those requirements.
- Circumvent another service’s rules or terms, including restrictions on AI assistance.
AI output
Answers are generated by a language model and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions without independent verification. You are responsible for anything you do based on an answer.
As between you and us, you own the answers you receive. We make no claim to them and no warranty that they are accurate, complete or fit for any purpose.
Payment
- Depending on your location, Plus is ₺299 per month or ₺2,990 per year, and Pro is ₺899 per month or ₺7,449 per year. Outside Turkey the corresponding prices are $8.99 / $89.99 for Plus and $19.99 / $159.99 for Pro, exclusive of any tax shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as merchant of record and authorised reseller for your purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
Promotional codes
Promo codes grant a stated period of Pro access. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or resold, and may be withdrawn if obtained through abuse of the referral or signup process.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service depends on a third-party model provider, and an outage there is an outage here. We may change or discontinue features. If we materially reduce what a paid plan provides, we will tell active subscribers by email first. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or close an account that breaches these terms or the Fair Use Policy, with the graduated process described there. You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@kopya.ai.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory statutory rights in your country, and nothing in these terms overrides them.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
